Devlog 002: Taking deadseaorigins.com live
ScriptureLuke 1:1–4
Tonight the new deadseaorigins.com reached version 1.0.0.
One look, on the site and on stream
The stream now wears the same brand as the site. The Portal card, the build banner and the Word scene carry the Rolled Stone, the open tomb with its great stone rolled aside, set in EB Garamond capitals and the site’s gold, inside The Devlog Portal’s green frame.
We also refined the mark itself. The gap around the stone is now a true cut-out, so it sits cleanly on concept art, gradients and cards alike.
Site v1.0.0
- The version is in the footer, every release is tagged, and a changelog records what changed.
- The Eyewitness Report goes out every Sunday. The list opens soon; until then, follow the build live on Twitch and in replays on YouTube.
- Support says it plainly: right now, Dead Sea Origins is funded entirely by its founder. Every wishlist, share and backer moves the next chapter closer.
- Until the Steam page exists, every Wishlist button takes you to the Eyewitness List, so you’ll hear the day it opens.
- Before release, every page was checked: links, share images, readable text over the concept art, and layouts from phones to wide screens.
Tonight’s passage
Luke 1:1–4, where Luke sets out to write an orderly account of what was handed down by the eyewitnesses.
