Privacy policy

Last updated October 23, 2026

This policy explains what information Qumran Studios (“we”) collects through deadseaorigins.com and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

  • The Eyewitness List. If you join, we collect your email address and, if you choose, the name you want shown in the credits. We use these only to send you the Eyewitness Report every Sunday and news about Dead Sea Origins, and to list Founding Eyewitnesses in the Chapter One credits.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us or use the contact form on the press page, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply.

This site does not use advertising trackers, and it does not set its own cookies.

Services we use

  • Kit (kit.com) stores and delivers our email list. Your email is handled under Kit’s privacy policy.
  • FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers contact form messages to our inbox, under FormSubmit’s privacy policy.
  • YouTube and Twitch. Video players are not loaded until you press play. Once you do, YouTube (in privacy-enhanced mode) or Twitch may set cookies under their own policies.
  • Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

Links to Steam, social networks and other platforms take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your information, including removing your name from the credits list before it is finalized, by writing to deadseaorigins@gmail.com.

Children

The Eyewitness List is meant for people 13 and older. If you believe a child has joined, contact us and we will remove them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for meaningful changes, tell the Eyewitness List.
