Devlog 003: Opening the Eyewitness List

Tonight the Eyewitness List opened, and deadseaorigins.com reached version 1.2.0.

The Eyewitness List is open

Join with the name you’d like in the credits and your email, then confirm from your inbox (check spam or promotions if it hides). Once you confirm, a welcome page explains what you’ve joined:

• The first 10,000 to join get their names in the Chapter One credits as Founding Eyewitnesses.
• The Eyewitness Report comes every Sunday: what we built, what’s next, when we’re live.

Joining is now the first thing the site offers: Become a Founding Eyewitness in the hero and Join the List in the nav, both straight to the form.

Believing and trusting

The Linchpin now says more about why trust is the point:

“You believe that God is one. Good for you! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.” (James 2:19)

Agreeing isn’t the same as trusting.

“The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” (John 6:29)
